Meet the Band

At Mississippi Mason Music Academy, we aren’t just a team. We’re a group of musicians: we’re a band.


  • Founder

    Mason Honnoll teaches Guitar, Mandolin, Harmonica, and Songwriting. He has been teaching various instruments since 2020. Mason is an Eagle Scout with over ten years of serving in The Boy Scouts of America. Mason has taught guitar lessons and workshops with Grammy Museum Mississippi and other guitar studios in the southeast In 2022, Mason earned his bachelor’s degree in music business from Delta State University. Using what he learned, Mason plugs his students into the local music scene in their areas through open mic nights, radio shows, concerts, and more.

  • Christina Alford teaches piano, music theory, and songwriting. She has been teaching music fundamentals since 2020 and was a church pianist for four years. Christina earned her bachelor’s in music business in 2023, and in 2024, she earned her MBA from Delta State University. Throughout her career as an instructor, Christina has aimed to equip students with the music knowledge and confidence to go after their creative pursuits.
